# Staking

Steps to follow to start staking on your wallet

1. Download and install Fusion wallet depending on your operating system from:\

   <http://www.fusionenergyx.com/#wallets><br>
2. Wait for your wallet to finish synchronizing with the network.<br>
3. Open wallet configuration file from Tools menu (fusion.conf), add the line "staking=1" (without "s) and save the file. Use notepad (or any text editor software) to open the file if asked.<br>
4. Restart your wallet.<br>
5. Send your coins to your wallet.<br>
6. Unlock your wallet if encrypted. You can use the option "Only for staking".<br>
7. You can use any number of coins to stake. Running a masternode requires 10000 coins.<br>
